How to Enter EmployeeTimesheets

 

 

 

To enter employee timesheets for SAFARI the employee social security number and password must be set-up by the administrator.  Depending on your privalage level the password may be optional.

 

Enter the social security number without dashes.  If the employee social security number has not been set up an error box will appear.  At this point contact your administrator to set-up your number and password.  If you have privalges you can 'Right Click'  on the employee social security number field for more options.  

 

Next enter your password.  If you cannot remember you password 'CLICK' on .  You must be able to answer the password help question.  If successfull your password will be displayed.

 

From the pay period start and end dates (set by the administrator) a weekly calendar will appear in the pay grid.  All available job orders for the employee will be filled in the Job Order # combo dropdown box.  'Click' the down arrow to select the available job orders for the employee on that day.   Only valid job orders for this employee are valid.  If the employee has no job orders placed for this time period an 'Error Message Box' will appear and you will not be able to continue.  After a valid job order has been entered the client name will be displayed.

 

Next enter the pay code.  The first pay code will fill in as a default (Normally 'R' for regular hours. 'Click'  the down arrow on the pay code combo box to select a different pay code.  The pay code description will fill in.  These pay codes are set by your system administrator.

 

Finally enter the hours worked.

 

To add an additional pay line 'Right Click' on the day grid and select the 'Add a New Day Line'.  A new day/date line will be created following the previously highlighed line.  If no line is highlighted the day/date line will be added at the bottom.  The Job Orders Placed for the Employee and Pay Codes will also fill in the drop down boxes in the grid.  To delete an additional pay line 'Right Click' on the day grid and select the 'Delete a New Day Line'.  You will be asked if 'Are You Sure You Want to Delete the Highlighted Line'. 'Click' to delete or .

 

 

After each hours worked is entered, the totals by day and pay code are displayed in the lists at the bottom of the form.  If all enties are correct 'Click' the to update the reocord. You can put the proper social security number and pasword in to change or review the entry.

 

To delete the entry 'Click' the . You will be asked 'Are you Sure'.   'Click' to delete or . If the record will be deleted and the form cleared for the next employee social security number.

 

To cancel and start over 'Click' the . The form will be cleared back to the enter social security number field.

 

To print the entry  'Click' the . The form will print to your local windows printer.

 

 

To FIinish 'Click' the and your session will be disconnected.

 

 

Use the Employee Time Entry Menu for the Following:

 File:

   - Save / Update the Employee Time Record. Same as    

   - Delete the Employee Time Record. Same as

   - Print the Employee Time  Information on this form to the Windows Printer.
